Once Upon a time in a kingdom called called Behrouz., which was popular around the world for its recipe of layered rice and secret spices, that lured Kings and masses alike. The recipe was lost forever when King Cyrus laid siege to Behrouz until it was discovered amongst the ruins. And, So is how they found the legendary and royal recipe of the royal Behrouz Biryani. Recently, Behrouz Biryani sent their Biryani and Kebab Koobideh for tasting, and given below is a list of some of the dishes that I got to try my hands on:- MEHFIL-E-BIRYANI Murgh Makhani Biryani (352.38 INR):- While I almost always forget to incorporate the packaging in my write-ups, I just can't afford to skip it this time - The royal box of biryani contains warm biryani along with two small bowls of raita and gulab jamun, spoon and tissue paper and even a pack of after-mint - now that is some serious royal thoughts there, ain't it? Talking about biryani, The richness of makhan and spices just adds up to the flavours of rice which is studded with tender pieces of chicken & loads of dry fruits. And if that's not enough with the appreciation, the quantity just wows me. KEBAB KOOBIDEH:- Murgh Koobideh (188.57 INR):- Ground chicken flavoured with cardamom & green chilli and grilled to to perfection, is everything a perfect sider can be. SHIRIN & SHERBET:- Chocolate Fantasy (76.20 INR):- If I had to explain this dish in one line I'd say - "This Choco Lava Cake is a perfect example of what if Chocolate Cake (on the outside) and Melted Chocolate (on the inside) got married and have a baby." lol. From succulent chicken to well-layered biryani to spiced & grilled meat and falafel tikkis, Kingdom of Behrouz has given us a gift that we sure don't want to miss on.
